🔵 SEN Professional – MAPPA Certified 📍 Location: Croydon 📅 Start: ASAP 💼 Full-Time | Long-Term Are you an experienced SEN Professional with strong behaviour support skills and MAPPA certification? A Croydon-based Alternative Provision/PRU is seeking a dedicated specialist to join their team and support young people with complex behavioural, social and emotional needs. Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and group support for students with SEN and SEMH needs
Implement de-escalation strategies and behaviour management plans
Work collaboratively with the safeguarding and pastoral teams
Maintain a safe, structured and supportive learning environment
Support emotional regulation and positive decision-making
Requirements:
MAPPA certified (essential)
Strong experience working with students with challenging behaviour
Background in SEN, SEMH, PRU or Alternative Provision settings
Confident in de-escalation, safeguarding and risk management
Resilient, calm, proactive and able to build positive relationships
