Service Charge Analyst – South London £28.58 per hour (Umbrella) 3-Month Ongoing Contract Hybrid Working – Minimum 4 Days in Office
We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Service Charge Analyst to join our dedicated Service Charge team at Southern Housing. This is an excellent interim opportunity for a professional with strong analytical ability, housing sector experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. About the Role As a Service Charge Analyst, you will report directly to the Service Charge Manager and play a key role in shaping and delivering an accurate, transparent, and customer-focused service charge function. You will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, contributing to ongoing transformation and improvement projects within the Service Charge team. Key Responsibilities
Ensure accurate calculation, monitoring, and reconciliation of service charges
Provide high-quality support and information to service charge payers and internal stakeholders
Collaborate with operational teams to improve service charge processes and data quality
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, accounts, and statutory notices
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Service Charge function
Requirements
Previous experience in a Service Charge Analyst or similar role within housing
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency with housing management or finance systems (preferred)
Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment
