SEN Case Officer – Bexley (Hybrid Working) Umbrella Rate: £28.45 per hour Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm Contract: 4 Months Hybrid Working: Minimum 1 day per week in the office (where possible)
Pertemps is recruiting an experienced and dedicated SEN Case Officer to join a busy and supportive SEN team in Bexley. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional who is committed to improving outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
About the Role You will play a key role in supporting families, carers, and educational settings (from nursery through to post-16/19 providers) to ensure the needs of learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and administering the Statutory Assessment and Review process
Liaising with schools, professionals, and families to determine the best support and provision
Supporting children and young people aged 0–25 with SEND to achieve positive outcomes
Focusing on phase transfer processes to meet the February 2026 statutory deadlines
Supporting the annual review workflow in a high-performing SEN team
About You To be considered for this role, you must have:
Experience working directly within SEN (e.g., in a school, Local Authority, or education/health/care service)
Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, statutory processes, and EHCP requirements
A relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent
Experience working professionally in or with educational settings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational ability, with confidence managing workloads and casework efficiently
A proactive, hardworking, and collaborative attitude
