Our client is also open to considering applications from experienced accountants seeking a Senior Accountant role, offering an exciting opportunity to progress your career within a supportive and professional environment.
The role:You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, and assisting with audits. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a variety of clients and sectors, with opportunities to develop technical expertise and take on more responsibility over time.
Your key responsibilities as a Semi-Senior Accountant or a Senior Accountant will include:- Preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients.
- Supporting audits and client engagements.
- Assisting with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and VAT returns.
- Reviewing the work of junior staff (for senior level).
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
The ideal Semi-Senior Accountant or Senior Accountant will have:- ACA/ACCA qualified (or part-qualified for semi-senior level).
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in practice accounting, including accounts preparation and audits.
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive and client-focused approach.
