Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a growing business in the Reading area.
Working for a SME business and reporting to the Group Finance Director, the role will encompass all aspects of management accounting and will be responsible for the following tasks:
Prepare and distribute monthly management accounts
Provide variance analysis and commentary
Liaise with budget holders and prepare the annual budgets
Run monthly budget review meetings
Business partner with stakeholders providing key analysis and management information
Ensure the timely month end close of financial activities such as journals, accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations
Review and develop processes and systems
Provide financial support with ongoing projects
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Proven experience in an all round management accountant or similar role
Strong analytical and IT skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience of working with a range stakeholders
Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
