JOB TITLE: Family Solicitor (Senior)                  
PQE REQUIRED: 8+

THE ROLE:
The role will involve working closely alongside the Head of Department, supporting the day to day management of the team and contributing to the ongoing development of the practice. The department handles a broad range of private family law matters including divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings and cohabitation disputes. The successful candidate will assist with the supervision and development of two Junior Family Solicitors, while also managing their own caseload with a high degree of autonomy.
This is a key strategic hire, with a clear long term plan to appoint an individual who can progress into the practice management team and potentially step into the Head of Family role as part of a planned succession strategy. The firm is particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm for leadership, business development and departmental growth.

THE CANDIDATE:
The firm is seeking a qualified Solicitor with significant experience in private family law who is able to manage an existing caseload with minimal supervision. You will bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative working style and the confidence to support and mentor junior colleagues. The ideal candidate will be motivated to help develop and expand the family department and will be attracted by the opportunity to progress into a senior leadership role over time. Experience in alternative dispute resolution, collaborative law or mediation would be advantageous, but is not essential. This role would suit a Senior Associate ready to step into a more strategic position, or an existing team leader seeking a long term, succession-planned opportunity.
