Fabric Cutter / Knife Cutting Operative
Location: Yate, BS37
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Job Type: Temp ongoing
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
We are currently seeking a Fabric Cutter / Knife Cutting Operative to join a well-established and reputable clothing manufacturer based in Yate (BS37). This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for someone looking to secure long-term employment within a manufacturing environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Operating a computerised knife-cutting machine to cut fabric accurately to specification
Loading materials and selecting the correct patterns and layouts using a computer system
Working in line with production schedules and written instructions
Performing basic equipment checks and reporting any faults or issues
Ensuring consistently high standards of quality and accuracy
Adhering to all health and safety guidelines at all times
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience within fabric cutting, textile manufacturing, or production environments is advantageous
Confident using computers and digital systems
Strong attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Full training provided for the right candidate
