Key Responsibilities
Manage a defined housing patch or caseload, providing comprehensive housing management services.
Support tenancy sustainment, addressing issues such as breaches of tenancy and antisocial behaviour.
Monitor and manage rent arrears, taking appropriate early intervention and enforcement action.
Carry out estate and property inspections, ensuring health, safety, and tenancy compliance.
Provide a high standard of customer service, handling sensitive and complex cases professionally.
Resolve housing issues effectively while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and local authority policies.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partner agencies.
Maintain accurate case records and produce written correspondence as required.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Housing Officer or Housing Management role, managing a patch or caseload.
Proven experience in:
Tenancy management and sustainment
Rent arrears management
Property and estate inspections
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while contributing to team objectives.
Access to a car for business use and valid business insurance (essential).
