About the RoleAs an
Education and Training Facilitator, you will support the
design, delivery, and evaluation of development programmes for training staff across the business. Working closely with internal teams and stakeholders, you’ll champion
teaching and assessment excellence, contribute to continuous improvement, and help foster a culture of high performance.
You’ll also deliver recognised qualifications such as
AET, CET, CAVA, and IQA, while providing mentoring, training, and coaching to develop trainers at all levels.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Development- Provide L&D advice and support to teams across the business
- Deliver internal and accredited training, including AET, CET, CAVA, and IQA
- Design and facilitate learning across technical, leadership, and behavioural programmes
- Coach and mentor new and existing trainers to support professional development
- Promote and embed digital and blended learning solutions
- Conduct training needs analysis and capability gap assessments
- Evaluate training effectiveness and feed outcomes into quality improvement processes
- Support the development and implementation of competency frameworks
Quality Assurance- Support self-assessment and quality assurance activities
- Contribute to standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure consistency and quality in assessment and programme delivery
Stakeholder Engagement- Work collaboratively with colleagues, delivery teams, and external partners
- Contribute to Ofsted readiness and Awarding Organisation compliance
Operational & Compliance- Maintain accurate training records using systems such as NetD and CollegeIP
- Adhere to company and client policies relating to H&S, safeguarding, EDI, and quality
- Support wider cross-functional quality improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking ForEssential Qualifications- Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Level 4 (ideally Level 5) Teaching qualification
- Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA)
- Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)
- Level 3 Coaching & Mentoring
- Health & Safety Level 2 – desirable
Essential Experience- Strong background in training and education quality
- Knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework (EIF)
- Experience within commercial or work-based learning environments
- Confident delivering digital and blended learning
Desirable- Understanding of DSAT and JSP822
- Previous experience within defence or resilience training
Key Attributes- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong planning ability, attention to detail, and data analysis skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Proactive approach to quality and continuous improvement
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Committed to inclusion and maintaining high standards in training delivery
Security Requirements- Must hold (or be eligible for) BPSS and Enhanced DBS
- Security Clearance (SC) is desirable
