We are currently seeking a Machine Operative to join a manufacturing company, represented by Pertemps Network Group, based in Lincoln.
This is a great opportunity to join a respected local company. Permanent contracts will be offered to staff after successfully completing the probationary period. This is usually after 12 weeks.
What will I be paid? Hourly rate: £13.00 per hour.
What hours will I be working? You will be following 2 days on and then 2 days off shift pattern. Shifts will start at 06:00 and finish at 17:50.
What will I be doing as a Production Operative?- Operating and maintaining equipment, such as CNC machines, lathes, or milling machines
- Setting up machinery for production
- Monitoring machine performance and adjusting as needed
- Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet standards
- Collaborating with the machine shop team to meet daily or weekly production targets
What skills and experience do I need?- Valid, RTITB Reach Truck Certificate (Essential)
- Competent English and numeracy skills
- Excellent manual dexterity and proficiency with tools and equipment
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience in CNC Machine Operation (preferred)
- Manufacturing background (preferred)
- Reliable transport to reach site
