Class C+E Night Drivers to work on behalf of our most prestigious client who are global market leaders in the logistics industry. Our client is based in Doncaster and supplies a logistical support operation to one of Britain’s largest retailers transporting products across the country and are the vital link between customers, stores, Warehouses & Outbases.
Fully paid assessment upon a successful pass. Duties include: - Wagon & Drag trunking runs to RDC’s & Outbases
- Box on Box off (Wagon & Drag)
- Planning delivery schedules and routes with transport managers.
- Supervising or helping to load and unload goods (rare)
- Making sure loads are safely secured.
- Following traffic reports and changing your route if necessary.
- Completing delivery paperwork and logbooks.
An ideal Class 1 Driver will have the following skills and experience: - Held LGV C+E licence for minimum of 6 months with no more than 6 points and free from serious endorsements for insurance purposes.
- Valid CPC Card /DIGI card.
This is a 7-day operation, we are looking for drivers that are flexible & will work weekend shifts where required, start times anywhere between 15:00pm & 20:00pm.
In return the Class 1 Driver will receive the following rates of pay: - Monday to Friday Nights £19.03ph
- Saturday All Hours £20.00ph
- Saturday All Hours £23.00ph
